Therapy for Anxious Women

therapy for high performers

Never feeling at ease?

Constantly worrying about what other people think of you?

Feeling pressure to look like you have it all together and be there for everyone?

Saying yes to plans that you wish you could say no to?

Constantly overthinking social situations and relationships?

My clients often feel pressure to look like they have it all together, while on the inside their minds are constantly racing. Before coming to see me, they thought that they were supposed to always feel this way, but they started to realize that there may be other ways to think about situations in their life and feel more calm.

In therapy, my clients learn how to set boundaries and be more assertive of what they want. They begin to notice their anxious thoughts and stop letting anxiety rule their actions. They start to think of alternative ways of thinking about situations, learn how to simplify their schedules, and prioritize rest and meaningful activities.

Anxious thoughts do not need to define you or determine your actions and you don’t have to tackle this alone. Therapy can help you break the cycle of being caught up in anxious thoughts. If you’re ready to get started, I’d love to help you get there.
